The Rugby Championship. The Freedom Cup. The Trofeo Puma. All these trophies are one the line in Round 4 of the Rugby Championship 2024 as South Africa hosts New Zealand in Cape Town, while Australia travels to Santa Fe to take on Argentina.

South Africa vs New Zealand – Springboks To Win
It is all pointing towards the Springboks to close out the home series against the All Blacks at the Cape Town Stadium in a satisfying 2-0 victory. This would clinch both the Rugby Championship as well as the Freedom Cup, something that has not happened for Rassie Erasmus’ men since 2009, a very long 15 years ago. The visitors start with a +5.5 handicap, which is fair considering the more favourable conditions than the hostile ones in Johannesburg, but I believe that the Boks will cover this and then some, winning by between seven to 10 points. Look out for my multibet bet slip below as I make a bold prediction in the Argentina-Australia match.

Argentina vs Australia – Australia To Win
I am feeling dangerous. The Wallabies squeezed past Los Pumas in a match that the home side was expected to win. You know what… I actually think that the visitors will do it again at the Estadio Brigadier General Estanislao Lopez. Joe Schmidt’s charges are going to turn one into two, securing the Puma Trophy against the grain. The fire appears to have been doused inside the Argentinians following their momentous victory over the All Blacks away in Wellington in Round 1. To make your bet even sweeter, the Ozzies will make it a double result, winning both halves at 2.2/1. This, along with my pick for the Bok vs All Blacks match, makes the multibet at a safe 3.75/1.
